For the sports sector, the year 2020 has been an unprecedented hecatomb. The forced shutdown of activities, imposed by the health crisis, has led to dramatic losses of income and licences. The new year symbolises a new beginning for clubs and federations. 2021 has to be a synonym for rebound and strategic actions.
To help sport stakeholders score the goal, Sport Value and AssoConnect are combining their services. The objective is clear: to strengthen the sector’s resilience using digital tools. As last year proved, these online solutions are essential to keep up with the challenges of our time.
Complementary services to transform clubs and federations
On the one hand, Sport Value’s software solution offers federations a tool to manage the allocation of subsidies, as well as labelling and management control procedures. On the other hand, AssoConnect helps association executives to refocus on their core business. Its online tool enables them to easily manage all their daily tasks: CRM, accounting, payment collection, communication, etc.
The two companies will communicate regularly together on the problems encountered by the players in the field. In addition, they will offer exclusive exchanges and resources to clubs and federations. Their first joint webinar, on the need for digitalisation of sports clubs and federations, will take place on Thursday 4 February with interventions from Julien Müller, the new president of the French squash federation, and Bastien El Ghouzzi, manager and deputy executive of the PSG Handball association (to register, click here).
“Our solutions are complementary and are aimed at the same public: sports structures. It was therefore logical to exchange our ideas and share our network. This crisis should lead to a better structuring of clubs and federations. We have been working on these subjects for 15 years. The federal elections will also move the lines on digitalisation.”
Nicolas Blanc, founder and director of the cabinet Sport Value
“Our mutual expertise in the sports sector has made us natural partners. At AssoConnect, we have been working for a long time, alongside the CNOSF (French Olympic Committee), to democratize digital uses in sports structures. This partnership with Sport Value will help us to make them understand that digital transformation is their ally, particularly in attracting new profiles and securing funds in times of crisis. “
